This WotLK Classic Tailoring leveling guide will show you the fastest and easiest way to get your Tailoring skill up from 1 to 450 in Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
I recommend trying Zygor's 1-80 Leveling Guide if you are still leveling your character or you just started a new alt. The guide will help you to reach level 80 a lot faster.

Tailoring Leveling
1 - 75
You will need around 59x Coarse Thread for the 1-75 part. You can buy them from the Tailoring Supplies vendor near your trainer. When buying from the vendor, use SHIFT + MOUSE CLICK, then type in how many you want. (the maximum amount you can buy at once is 20 for threads and 10 for dyes)
I don't recommend buying all the dyes and thread at once because it will fill up your inventory and you won't have that much bag space to craft items. I'll list the needed Dyes and Thread for each part separately.

For information on how to choose a specialization, please see my separate guide:
Tailoring Specializations in WotLK Classic
WotLK Classic Tailoring (350-450)
You can learn the new WotLK Classic Tailoring skill from these NPCS:
Horde:
Alexandra McQueen in Howling Fjord

Both factions can also learn it from Charles Worth at Dalaran.

If you only want to reach 420 to get the Tailoring Cloak Enchants, you will need around 350. (1750x Frostweave Cloth)

Frostweave Bags
Crafting Frostweave Bag gives skill points until 450 and is probably the cheapest way to reach 450. The recipe will be green, so it's hard to tell how many you have to craft, but you will probably have to make around 30-40.
