This Light Leather farming guide will show you the places that I use for farming Light Leather in Classic WoW. The guide can be used for TBC Classic too because there were no major changes to any of the old zones.
Light Leather
The Barrens
I got the most Light Leather by farming Thunderhawk Cloudscrapers, Thunderheads, and Zhevra Coursers around Camp Taurajo.
Mob level: 20-22
Darkshore
The bottom part of Darkshore is also a good place to farm, there is a lot of Moonstalker Matriarchs, Giant Foreststriders, and Grizzled Thistle Bears around the marked area.
Mob level: 16-20
Ashenvale
If someone is already farming at Darkshore, then Ashenvale is a really good alternative. Kill Wild Bucks and Ghostpaw Runners around the marked area.
Mob level: 18-20
Loch Modan
Kill and skin Elder Mountain Boars and Black Bear Patriarchs.
Mob level: 16-17
Silverpine Forest
There is always a few Moonrage Darksouls and Moonrage Glutton inside/outside of the marked cave, so you will never run out of them. Some of them will spawn at the bottom of the hill, so make sure to kill those too.
Not as good as the previous places because the mobs will drop a lot of leather scraps, but still a decent place for farming Light Leather.
