This MoP Classic Blacksmithing leveling guide will show you the quickest and most efficient way to level your Blacksmithing skill up from 1 to 600 in Mists of Pandaria Classic.

Below is an approximate list of materials you will need to level Blacksmithing from 1 to 600. These numbers are estimates and may vary slightly depending on skill-up chance and recipe availability.

Buy a Blacksmith Hammer from a Blacksmithing Supply vendor or Trade Supply vendor. They are usually near your trainer somewhere.

  The recipe is sold by Rohok in Hellfire Peninsula and by Mari Stonehand in Shadowmoon Valley. It's a limited supply item, so if someone bought it before you, you'll have to wait 15-60 minutes for it to respawn.

  The recipe stays green for the last 5 skill points, so the suggested amount (45) is approximate. You may need to craft more or fewer.

  If you can't get the recipe, you can instead buy Plans: Adamantite Dagger or Plans: Adamantite Cleaver from Aaron Hollman in Shattrath City. They are also sold by these NPCs: Arras, Eriden.

Darkmoon Faire Free +5 Profession Skill

Check your Calendar in-game to see if the Darkmoon Faire is open. The event is available every two weeks. It starts on Sunday and lasts for a week.

During the event, you can complete quests for each profession and gain +5 skill points for each. Click here to read more about the quests.

575 - 600

At 575, you will need to buy a vendor recipe to reach 600. These recipes are sold by vendors in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and each one costs 1x Spirit of Harmony. You can get Spirit of Harmony by combining 10x Mote of Harmony, which drop from all mobs in Pandaria, including dungeon enemies.

Unlocking Vale of Eternal Blossom

You can enter the Vale of Eternal Blossoms after completing the quest A Celestial Experience (requires level 87).

Once you finish the quest, you can find the Blacksmithing recipe vendors here:

• Horde: Jorunga Stonehoof in Shrine of Two Moons
• Alliance: Cullen Hammerbrow in Shrine of Seven Stars

Recipe and Materials

You only need one recipe to finish leveling.

Pick any Contender's Armor recipe, as they all give the same number of skill points. Some require more Ghost Iron Bars, but they also give more skill-ups per craft.

You will need around 58-64x Ghost Iron Bars to reach 600.
